Land Rover & Snowshoes

Here´s another view from the hillside directly behind the town - this was taken on an excursion we went on with an old guy in his clapped out Land Rover Defender - ace! Turns out he`s actually from Avellaneda in Buenos Aires, very close to where we`re living right now.

This was actually the proposed first day of boarding, we waited around all morning to find that the resort was closed due to heavy snowfall and gale force winds. We were all gutted and moped around a bit, but picked ourselves up in the afternoon and got some great views of the local area.

And heres the team standing proudly infront of the Landy - which I must add broke down towards the end of the day and needed to be pushed.



Didn`t get a discount though.

We also did a bit of snowshoe trekking which was good fun, those tennis racquet style shoes really make it so much easier.
