Los Andes

We travelled 24 hours north to Mendoza province, where Adri and I had been in January. Then we had to take an 8 hour coach ride pretty much straight away to cross the border to Santiago de Chile.

Sore arses but the views were, like last time, fantastic. And we ended up taking an almost identical route, swinging right at the junction to Las Cuevas to take the tunnel to Chilean immigration. Who told me I may have some difficulties getting back in to Argentina. What fun.

Check the road coming back down the mountains in Chile after immigration - windy enough, but we also had the random element of our South American coach driver thrown in to make it a pretty ropey descent.
